Antitrust sees 500 mln rbl cartel on medical equipment market
MOSCOW, Mar 26 (PRIME) -- The Novosibirsk Region’s office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service has detected a 500 million ruble cartel collusion during medical equipment supplies, the authority said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The antimonopoly authority has discovered that companies Phyto and Terra agreed on the winner and the limit of reduction of the tender starting price in advance in the period of 2016–2017, while fulfilling an anticompetitive deal,” the authority said.
Andrei Tenishev, head of the anti-cartel department of the authority, said that the market of supply of pharmaceuticals and equipment remains one of the most cartelized in Russia.
